At the end of this presentation, attendees will be able to:
Understand the role of the vestibular system and identify common vestibular deficits related to neuroanatomy
Perform oculomotor exam and HINTS to rule out central versus peripheral pathology
Identify components of a comprehensive vestibular evaluation
Understand the treatment principles of vestibular rehab
Specific treatment challenges and considerations when treating persons with central vestibular disorders
This online course is designed for allied health professionals (e.g., OT/OTA, PT/PTA, SLP, etc.). To participate in this course and receive credit, the participant must be a licensed clinician, complete the content of the course in its entirety, score ≥80% on the post-course assessment, and complete the course evaluation. Completion of this course will reward the participant with 1 contact hour(s)
