Learning Objectives

At the end of this presentation, attendees will be able to:

  • Understand the role of the vestibular system and identify common vestibular deficits related to neuroanatomy

  • Perform oculomotor exam and HINTS to rule out central versus peripheral pathology

  • Identify components of a comprehensive vestibular evaluation

  • Understand the treatment principles of vestibular rehab

  • Specific treatment challenges and considerations when treating persons with central vestibular disorders

Course Requirements

This online course is designed for allied health professionals (e.g., OT/OTA, PT/PTA, SLP, etc.). To participate in this course and receive credit, the participant must be a licensed clinician, complete the content of the course in its entirety, score ≥80% on the post-course assessment, and complete the course evaluation. Completion of this course will reward the participant with 1 contact hour(s)
