Following completion of this course, the learner will be able to:
Identify physical, cognitive, and sensory factors that impact driving safety and readiness.
Describe the role of occupational therapists in evaluating driver readiness and collaborating with physicians and Certified Driving Rehabilitation Specialists (CDRS).
Apply clinical assessments and simulator-based tools to evaluate driving-related skills and safety.
Recognize DMV policies, adaptive equipment options, and strategies for addressing difficult conversations about driving safety.
This online course is designed for allied health professionals (e.g., OT/OTA, PT/PTA, SLP, etc.). To participate in this course and receive credit, the participant must be a licensed clinician, complete the content of the course in its entirety, score ≥80% on the post-course assessment, and complete the course evaluation. Completion of this course will reward the participant specified contact hour(s)

Attendees of different disciplines or licensed in other states should verify with their licensing body if credit can be utilized toward regulatory requirements.
