Following completion of this course, the learner will be able to:
Describe the high bar of intensive therapy required to improve function for persons post stroke.
Explain evidence of intensive therapy for persons with low amounts of functional mobility.
Define the knowledge gap between current recommendations and practice.
Explain at least 1 evidence-based intervention to aid in closing this knowledge gap.
This online course is designed for allied health professionals (e.g., OT/OTA, PT/PTA, SLP, etc.). To participate in this course and receive credit, the participant must be a licensed clinician, complete the content of the course in its entirety, score ≥80% on the post-course assessment, and complete the course evaluation. Completion of this course will reward the participant with 1 contact hour(s)
