Learning Objectives

Following completion of this course, the learner will be able to:

  • Describe the high bar of intensive therapy required to improve function for persons post stroke.

  • Explain evidence of intensive therapy for persons with low amounts of functional mobility.

  • Define the knowledge gap between current recommendations and practice.

  • Explain at least 1 evidence-based intervention to aid in closing this knowledge gap.

Course Requirements

This online course is designed for allied health professionals (e.g., OT/OTA, PT/PTA, SLP, etc.). To participate in this course and receive credit, the participant must be a licensed clinician, complete the content of the course in its entirety, score ≥80% on the post-course assessment, and complete the course evaluation.
